Wendy A. Stuart Named Chief Nursing Officer at Kendall Regional Medical Center

(Miami, FL) – Kendall Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendy A. Stuart as Chief Nursing Officer of Kendall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Stuart most recently was Chief Nursing Officer at St. David’s Georgetown in Georgetown, Texas. Prior to that Mrs. Stuart worked in south Florida at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida and Plantation General Hospital in Plantation, Florida, both HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) affiliates.
"Wendy is a great addition to our leadership team. Her extensive experience and nursing knowledge in both Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care will be a great asset as we continue to enhance the pediatric services we offer to our community," said Scott Cihak, Chief Executive Officer.
Mrs. Stuart has a Master’s of Science in Nursing from University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada and a Bachelor of Nursing Science (Critical Care Nursing) from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Mrs. Stuart has served as an adjunct professor for Florida Atlantic University – College of Nursing in Boca Raton, Florida. She also has a background in Critical Care in adults and pediatrics.
Wendy and her husband Brian reside in Coconut Grove.
