A Message from our Chief Nursing Officer
Nursing at Kendall Regional Medical Center is built on a long tradition of caring. Being the only acute care hospital in our community we understand the importance of delivering individualized, holistic patient care to our local people. Our moderate size allows us to better focus on compassion and caring, the central core to nursing practice. Our team approach, utilizing all components of the health care team in planning and delivering high quality patient care, assures that patient's receive the best care available. Modified primary care is our nursing/patient care model which fosters one-on-one interaction with our patients and a hands on environment. Our patients rate us very high in 'treating them as a person', a rating which brings us great pride, and a component of patient care that we value highly at Kendall Regional Medical Center.
We offer flexible orientation tailoring the process to the individual nurse's needs and focus on assuring that ongoing education supports the nurse's continued high level practice.
