Scholarly Activity

Our department is dedicated to pursuing research and other academic pursuits. Our program highlights:

  • Over 15 peer reviewed publications, including articles in Anesthesia and Analgesia and The Lancet
  • Over 15 book chapters
  • Over 20 Abstracts or exhibitions, including 7 Medically Challenging Cases at the upcoming ASA Annual Meeting
  • Over 40 presentations at National, Regional, State, and Local meetings including the ASA and FSA annual meetings

As a newly established residency program our priority is to provide our residents and the department with the support and tools needed to cultivate the desire and develop the skills to be academically active.
