Thank you for your interest in the Transitional Year Residency Training Program at Kendall Regional Medical Center. Transitional Year Residency training will prove to be one of the most rewarding professional experiences of your career. Our Residency Training Program pursues clinical excellence and professionalism at every level.
Our program is an ACGME accredited one-year training program designed to provide our residents with a broad variety of medical and surgical specialties. Our Transitional Year program will give physicians a well-balanced foundation in preparation to transition into an advanced categorical residency program, or government service commitment, or help define ambiguous career goals.
Our teaching faculty is a group of dedicated physicians that have extensive knowledge and experience in clinical and academic medicine. We are committed to excellence in clinical medicine and teaching of our residents. I look forward to discussing your interest in our Transitional Year Residency Program.
The mission of our Transitional Year Residency Training Program is to train superb clinicians who will develop the necessary skills to become leaders in patient care, medical education, and research.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive academic and clinical experience with an emphasis on primary care and hospital medicine. This training will provide our graduates with the ability to pursue careers in various specialties.
